Description

Sunningdale City Football Club is looking for passionate and committed coaches to join our 2026 season. This program allows coaches to register their interest and provide necessary details to be considered for coaching our teams across all age groups.

Eligibility: Coaches must be at least 18 years old during 2026. All registrations will be reviewed, and positions will be confirmed based on experience, qualifications, and available coaching slots.

By registering, coaches agree to uphold SCFC’s values of Development, Commitment, and Achievement, and to contribute to creating a safe, fun, and disciplined environment for all players.

Waiver Summary Text:

COACH REGISTRATION WAIVER AND DECLARATION

By submitting this registration, I acknowledge and agree to the following:

1. Registration & Selection
Completing this registration does not guarantee that I will be selected as a coach for the upcoming season. If selected, this declaration and all submitted information will form part of my official coaching record.

2. Accuracy of Information
All information I have provided is true and correct to the best of my knowledge. I understand that providing false or misleading information may lead to my application being declined or my coaching role being terminated.

3. Background Checks & Police Clearance
I understand that, due to the nature of working with minors, the club will request a valid Police Clearance Certificate and/or conduct background checks (including AFISwitch) and I agree to provide the required documentation.

4. Safeguarding & Conduct
If selected as a coach, I will uphold professional conduct at all times and comply with all club policies, including the Child Protection Policy, Code of Conduct, and Safety Guidelines. I confirm that I have never been convicted of an offence involving minors and am not listed on any sexual offenders register. I will maintain appropriate boundaries with all players and act in their best interests at all times.

5. Health & Safety
I understand that participation in coaching activities may involve physical activity and associated risks. I agree to take reasonable precautions to ensure the safety of players, myself, and others.

6. Liability
I acknowledge that the club, its staff, and volunteers are not liable for injuries, damages, or losses that may occur during training or matches, except in cases of proven negligence. I agree to follow all safety instructions issued by the club.

7. Media Consent
I consent to the club using photographs or videos of me taken during club activities for official communication or promotional use, unless I provide written notice opting out.

8. Agreement to Club Requirements
I understand that being selected as a coach is conditional upon meeting all club requirements, including attending meetings, training sessions, and workshops where applicable.

9. Acceptance
I accept and agree to be bound by all conditions set out in the Sunningdale City F.C Code Of Conduct and the Sunningdale City F.C Constitution.
